Over the course of the past 10 years, Mr. Terence has guided hundreds of students to excel at their O and A Levels, with over 80% of his students attaining an ‘A’ grade.
Having worked with students from many different schools (SJI, Raffles, Kuo Chuan, ACS, Nan Hua, etc.), Mr. Terence is familiar with their syllabus, lesson structure and expected standards.
After joining his classes, majority of his students have improved significantly, jumping at least 2 grades in just 3-6 months.

I have been attending Mr. Terence’s Physics tuition for 4 years – from Sec 3 to J2. My experience has been one filled with joy, a sense of achievement and growth. He also provided a vast amount of resources – past year school prelim papers, worksheets compiling highly challenging questions that were hand-picked by him, topical revision exercises, content notes if needed etc., which helped me improve quickly.
Beyond academics, I can confidently say that Mr. Terence has not only been a teacher, but also a mentor and someone who educates beyond the syllabus. During lessons, he educates us on the real life applications of the Physics concepts that we learn, helping me find meaning in learning the concepts we’re taught. This kept me from finding Physics a bore and just another subject I have to do well in which I believe was crucial not only to help me do well in Physics, but also inspired me to see the world differently.

After joining Intuitive Minds, i’m coping so much better with physics despite the increasing difficultly of the A level syllabus and it is also currently one of my better subjects in school :)) My teacher provides very clear and detailed explanation and exposes us to a wide range of possible question types while also making lessons really enjoyable :p lessons are also catered specifically to what me and my friends need more help with, making lessons pretty flexible which is good!
CERTIFIED LIFE COACH, GOING BEYOND THE BOOKS
Scoring well for exams requires not only a deep understanding of the subject but a strong state of mind. Thus, Mr. Terence provides cognitive coaching so that his students will have less exam anxiety and more confidence. In 2020, Mr. Terence completed his ICF-Certified training to become a certified life coach. He is currently coaching students in goal-setting, emotional management and academic excellence. He believes students can succeed in all areas of life with proper planning and awareness. To date, he has completed over 100 hours of coaching.
